I can’t wait to build with Black Limba again, but it will be quite some time before I come across some. It’s beautifully spalted and every piece looks entirely different. There were several small worm holes that had to be addressed and filled prior to completing the body which was a fun discovery. It goes to show that all trees are habitats for creatures and small critters long before they become guitars. This one sounds - again - like a cannon, beautifully balanced. I traded the extra inlay work on the rosette for the tailblock - check it out.
